Fine Art Portraits & Illustrations

I’m currently engaged in creating a painted documentary of scenes and native peoples of Florida entitled: Fine Art of Native Florida. I have been fortunate to receive numerous Best of Show awards for this body of work. I have been honored with many portrait commissions that is a constantly growing body of work in my Life Portraits Series. Then, there is the experimental and colorful Particulars Of Our Existence series.

My professional art expertise consists of Art & Creative Direction that comes from working many years in artwork production. This includes graphics design, digital pre-press, fine art paintings, commercial illustrations and fine art portraits. I have 30+ years experience in the comprehension of concepts and possess a deep resolve in applying concept, application and execution of printed materials. In particular, Visual Communication and its use of type as elements in a composition.

In recent past, I have acquired a working knowledge of audio, video, digital video mastering. A full working knowledge of various format film and digital cameras. Process and print B/W and color photos, Matchprint. copy/reproduction, lithographic and flexographic plate development. I can blueprint computerized image setters/film recorders, scanners and digitizers in conjunction with an existing printing facility.

A high-end Mac & Windows user for digital artwork creation and A/V production, e.g.; Video, graphics design, illustration, image editing (a Photoshop pro), animation, web site development and Flash Action Scripting, and digital color pre-press. Software proficiency: the Adobe Creative Suite, the Apple Pro Apps, Apple Keynote, Apple Shake, Maya, Quark Xpress, the Macromedia MX Studio, and Macromedia Director.
